Ultra-low-power omnipolar Hall switch for battery-operated position sensing
The Texas Instruments DRV5032FADMRR is a digital omnipolar Hall-effect switch that responds to either magnetic pole, with a ±4.8 mT typical operate point and ±0.5 mT release hysteresis. The open-drain or push-pull output (selected by the FA variant) interfaces directly to a GPIO without an external pull-up resistor, saving one BOM line per channel. The 5 mA max output current is sufficient to drive a logic input or a small LED indicator, but not a relay coil — plan a buffer for inductive loads.
