Supply voltage and sensing threshold
The DRV5032FADBZR operates from 1.65V to 5.5V, covering single-cell Li-ion and standard 3.3V or 5V logic rails without an external regulator. The ±4.8mT trip point and ±0.5mT release hysteresis define the magnetic switch window — the 0.5mT hysteresis prevents output chatter near the threshold.
Power budget and output drive
Maximum supply current is 3.5µA, making this part suitable for always-on proximity or lid-closure sensing in battery-powered gear. The push-pull output sinks or sources up to 5mA, enough to drive a logic input or a small LED directly without a pull-up resistor.
The Hall element's offset drift over temperature should be stacked into the system error budget — the datasheet's typical performance curves are the reference. Supplied in a 3-pin SOT-23-3 package (TO-236-3 / SC-59), it is a drop-in for many existing Hall-switch footprints.
