The DRV5023FIEDBZRQ1 is a unipolar Hall-effect switch from Texas Instruments, qualified to AEC-Q100 for automotive applications. It responds to a south-pole magnetic field, tripping at 6 mT and releasing at 0.5 mT — the 5.5 mT hysteresis prevents chatter near the threshold. The open-drain output lets you pull up to the MCU's logic level, saving a level shifter.
