12 mT operate threshold for position sensing
The DRV5023AJQLPG is a unipolar Hall-effect switch that triggers at 12 mT (typical) when a south pole is present and releases at 1 mT — a 11 mT hysteresis that prevents chatter at the switching point. Running from a 2.5 V supply, the open-drain output sinks 30 mA max — enough to drive a PLC input or a logic-level load directly without a buffer transistor.
AEC-Q100 and the automotive bill of materials
The TO-92-3 through-hole package is a standard 0.100-inch pitch footprint — the same hole pattern as legacy Hall switches, so a board respin is not needed when replacing an older unipolar sensor.
