Haptic driver with integrated power stage
The DRV2604LYZFT: The driver operates from a 2V to 5.5V supply and drives loads in the same voltage range, covering the typical battery voltage of a single-cell Li-ion pack. The output stage is configured as a half-bridge pair, allowing direct drive of a single LRA or ERM without external H-bridge components. Control is via an I²C interface, which handles waveform selection, gain, and playback. The internal waveform library and smart-loop architecture offload real-time timing from the host MCU, reducing firmware overhead for common haptic patterns.

Housed in a 9-ball DSBGA (0.4 mm pitch typical), the DRV2604LYZFT requires a fine-pitch PCB layout with via-in-pad or microvia fan-out. The ROHS3 compliance ensures lead-free assembly compatibility.
