DM9312N — 8-line multiplexer for legacy TTL logic
It selects one of eight data lines based on a three-bit address input and routes it to a single output. This part is intended for legacy TTL-level digital logic applications where board-level signal routing or data selection is needed — common in older industrial controllers, test equipment, and retrofit repairs.
Lifecycle and compliance — active, but RoHS non-compliant
However, the part is RoHS non-compliant, which means it contains lead (Pb) and is not suitable for designs that require lead-free soldering or RoHS declaration. For high-reliability or defence programs that accept tin-lead finishes, this is not a blocker — but for any RoHS-mandated BOM, a different multiplexer must be selected.
