Quad 2-line multiplexer in the 54LS family
The DM54LS157J/883C is a quad 2-line-to-1-line data selector/multiplexer from the 54LS Schottky TTL family, built to the military-temperature-grade 54 logic specification. It selects one of two 4-bit data sources and routes the chosen nibble to the outputs, controlled by a common select line and an active-low enable.
What the Bulk package means for the line
The DM54LS157J/883C is supplied in Bulk — loose tubes or trays, not tape-and-reel. For a pick-and-place line this means manual tube feeding or tray loading; the part is not compatible with an auto-reel feeder without a tube-to-reel transfer step. The DIP footprint (0.300-inch row spacing, 0.100-inch pin pitch) is the standard through-hole layout that mates with a DIP socket or wave-solder board.
