Neither the DS90CP22MT/NOPB (a 1 x 2:2 crosspoint switch) nor the SN74LS348N (a 1 x 8:3 priority encoder) is a functional replacement for the DM54150W/883. The DS90CP22 is a differential crosspoint with a different pinout and supply voltage; the 74LS348 encodes eight inputs to three bits, not sixteen to one. Neither drops into a board laid out for the 16-line TTL mux without a schematic change.
