16-bit quad DAC with voltage-buffered outputs
The DAC8555IPW is a 16-bit, quad-channel, voltage-output digital-to-analog converter from TI's microPOWER™ series. Each of the four DACs delivers a buffered voltage output with a 10 µs settling time to 16-bit accuracy — fast enough for multi-channel control loops in ATE, motor-drive trim, or programmable reference sources. INL is ±4 LSB max — the linearity error is dominated by the resistor string matching, not the output buffer.
Single-supply rail and digital interface
The SPI/DSP-compatible serial interface supports daisy-chaining multiple DAC8555 devices on a single bus, with data clocked in at rates that clear the 10 µs settling window. The reference input is external (Reference Type: External), so the output full-scale range tracks the reference voltage the system designer chooses. No internal reference means the DAC8555IPW's accuracy is set by the external reference's drift and noise — pair it with a low-drift bandgap for precision applications.
