Two 16-bit channels, 10 µs to a settled voltage
The DAC8552IDGKT from Texas Instruments packs two independent 16-bit digital-to-analog converters with buffered voltage outputs into an 8-pin VSSOP package.
Linearity and monotonicity at 16 bits
Integral nonlinearity is specified at ±4 LSB max, while differential nonlinearity is ±0.35 LSB — the DNL below 1 LSB guarantees monotonicity across the full output range. That matters for closed-loop systems where a non-monotonic step would reverse the control direction. The architecture is a String DAC with an external voltage reference, giving the user direct control over the output span.
Industrial temperature grade and interface
The digital interface is SPI-compatible (also supporting DSP frame-sync), so it ties directly to most MCU SPI peripherals without glue logic.
