12-bit resolution, voltage-buffered output in a SOT-23-6 footprint
The DAC121S101CIMK/NOPB is a single-channel 12-bit digital-to-analog converter with a buffered voltage output, built on a String DAC architecture. It delivers a 10 µs settling time to ±0.5 LSB, making it suitable for closed-loop control or set-point generation where the update rate stays below 100 kHz. The SOT-23-6 Thin package (TSOT-23-6) keeps the PCB footprint under 9 mm², which matters when routing multiple DACs on a dense mixed-signal board.
SPI/DSP interface with ±8 LSB INL ceiling
Data is written via a standard SPI or DSP-compatible serial interface. The INL specification is ±8 LSB maximum, and the DNL is ±0.5/+1 LSB maximum — the DNL is guaranteed monotonic, so the output code never decreases for an increasing digital input. This is critical in servo loops where non-monotonic behavior would cause a reversal in the control effort. The 10 µs settling time is measured to within ±0.5 LSB for a full-scale step. At 25°C the typical settling is faster, but the maximum figure governs the loop update rate in worst-case temperature and supply conditions.
