5V octal buffer — 32 mA source, 64 mA sink
The CY74FCT244DTSOCT from the 74FCT series is a non-inverting octal buffer with 3-state outputs, split into two 4-bit elements. Each output can source 32 mA and sink 64 mA, enough to drive a TTL bus or a bank of LEDs without external transistors.
Temperature grade — indoor only
It belongs in office equipment, bench instruments, or appliance control boards — not in a motor drive enclosure or under the hood. If the BOM calls for industrial or automotive temp, this one won't cut it.
