What this latch does on the board
The CLVC573AQPWRG4Q1 is an octal D-type transparent latch from TI's 74LVC family, qualified to AEC-Q100 for automotive use. It holds eight bits of data on its outputs while the latch-enable (LE) input is high; when LE goes low, the outputs freeze to the last state. The tri-state outputs let you share a bus with other devices — pull the output-enable (OE) high to put all eight outputs into high-impedance, effectively disconnecting the latch from the bus. That 1ns propagation delay means it keeps up with fast address/data buses without adding a wait state.
Lifecycle and compliance
Status is Active — no end-of-life notice, no last-time-buy window. TI continues to manufacture this part. RoHS3 compliant, so it ships into RoHS-regulated regions without exemption paperwork.
