Automotive-grade bus buffer for mixed-voltage domains
Each of the four elements handles a single bit, with 24mA sink and source capability on the outputs.
The 1.65V to 3.6V supply range is the headline spec for this part. It allows the buffer to sit on a 1.8V rail and still accept 3.3V inputs without damage, or run at 3.3V and drive 1.8V peripherals through the 3-state output. The 24mA output current is enough for a fan-out of ten CMOS loads or a single LED indicator, but not for driving a relay coil or a long cable — that would need a bus transceiver with higher drive. The 3-state output lets multiple buffers share a common bus line, which is standard for address or data buses in automotive body controllers.
Temperature range and automotive qualification
For a BOM that already carries 74LVC parts in the commercial temperature range, swapping to this automotive-grade variant avoids a separate qualification run.
Package and lifecycle
The CLVC125AQPWRG4Q1 is supplied in a 14-TSSOP package (4.40mm width), surface-mount only. The ROHS3 compliance is current. For long-term BOM planning, this part is still a standard catalog item — no last-time-buy pressure yet. The reels should be stored dry;.
