Three-PLL VCXO clock synthesizer for multi-output clock trees
The Texas Instruments CDCEL937PWR is a clock/frequency synthesizer built around three PLLs with VCXO capability, each PLL featuring a bypass mode. The 230 MHz maximum output frequency covers most FPGA reference clocks, SerDes reference inputs, and ADC sample clocks. The 1:7 input-to-output ratio means one clean reference fans out to seven loads — enough to clock an entire FPGA bank or a multi-ASIC board without extra fanout buffers.
ROHS3 compliant. For new designs, this part is safe to specify without worrying about a sudden obsolescence-driven redesign.
