The Texas Instruments CD74HC4067M is a single-circuit 16:1 multiplexer/demultiplexer in a 24-SOIC package. It routes one common I/O to any of sixteen channels, or the reverse, controlled by a 4-bit binary address.
On-resistance and bandwidth — what they mean for signal integrity
Max on-resistance is 160 Ohm, with channel-to-channel matching held to 8.5 Ohm — tight enough that gain errors across channels stay within a few percent in a precision analog path. The 89 MHz -3 dB bandwidth means the switch passes 10 MHz signals with under 1 dB of attenuation, suitable for video or fast sensor outputs. Switching times are 51 ns (on) and 49 ns (off) max, so the mux can cycle through all sixteen channels at several megahertz without the address change bleeding into the output. Off-channel leakage is 800 nA max; channel capacitance is 5 pF (off) and 50 pF (off common), which matters for settling time in a high-impedance ADC front end.
