The CD74HC4002MT is a dual 4-input NOR gate from Texas Instruments' 74HC series, packaged in a 14-SOIC (0.154", 3.90mm width) surface-mount package. Each of the two independent NOR gates accepts four inputs, with input logic levels defined as low at 0.5V to 1.8V and high at 1.5V to 4.2V, making it compatible with TTL and CMOS thresholds within the supply window.

Propagation delay and drive capability

Maximum propagation delay is 17 ns at 6V supply with a 50 pF load — this sets the timing budget for the signal path; the actual toggle rate at the receiver will be lower once the output rise time into the board's load capacitance is factored in. Output drive is symmetric at 5.2 mA source and sink, sufficient for driving one or two standard CMOS loads or a single TTL load without external buffers. Quiescent current is just 2 µA max, keeping the static power draw negligible in battery-powered or always-on circuits.
