The CD74HC4002M is a dual 4-input NOR gate from the 74HC high-speed CMOS logic family, operating across a 2V to 6V supply range. Each of the two independent NOR gates accepts four inputs, with output drive capability of 5.2 mA for both sourcing and sinking. The quiescent current max is 2 µA, keeping the static power draw negligible in battery-powered or always-on circuits.
It can be deployed in engine-bay electronics, outdoor telecom, or downhole instrumentation without derating the logic family. The input logic thresholds are specified as 0.5V to 1.8V for low level and 1.5V to 4.2V for high level across the supply range, ensuring compatibility with both 3.3V and 5V CMOS logic without external level translation in most cases.
