The CD74HC367MT is a 74HC-series CMOS hex buffer with non-inverting logic and 3-state outputs, packaged in a 16-lead SOIC. It contains two elements: one 2-bit and one 4-bit buffer, giving you six channels total. The 3-state outputs let you share a data bus without contention — float them high-impedance when another driver owns the line. Supply range is 2V to 6V, which covers 3.3V and 5V logic rails cleanly.
Output drive and bus interface
Each output sources or sinks 7.8mA, typical for standard 74HC. That's enough to drive a CMOS input or a low-power LED indicator, but don't expect to fan out to a dozen TTL loads without buffering. The 3-state enable lets you wire-OR the outputs onto a shared bus — common in address decoding or data-path muxing.
Lifecycle and compliance
Texas Instruments lists the CD74HC367MT as Active product status.
