Quad OR gate for mixed-voltage logic
The CD74AC32M is a Texas Instruments 74AC-series quad 2-input OR gate in a 14-SOIC package. It operates from 1.5V to 5.5V supply, so it bridges 1.8V, 2.5V, 3.3V, and 5V logic families without a level shifter on each input. Four independent OR gates per package, each with two inputs, give you four logic functions in one 14-SOIC footprint — consolidates board space and reduces pick-and-place cost.
Temperature range and timing margin
The 9.5ns max propagation delay at 5V, 50pF load sets the timing floor for high-speed clock distribution or address decoding. Quiescent current maxes at 4 µA, so it adds negligible static power to a battery-powered design.
