Dual 4-input AND gate in 14-TSSOP
The CD4082BPWR is a Texas Instruments 4000B-series CMOS dual 4-input AND gate in a 14-TSSOP package. It operates from a 3V to 18V supply, which covers everything from a 3.3V logic rail to a 12V industrial bus, and draws just 1 µA quiescent current max — a key spec for battery-powered or always-on circuits. The 14-TSSOP footprint is a common glue-logic package, hand-solderable with a fine tip and a steady hand.
Supply voltage and speed trade-off
Propagation delay is 90 ns at 15V with a 50 pF load. The 4000B family trades speed for wide voltage tolerance. Output drive is 3.4 mA for both high and low states — enough to drive a CMOS input or a small LED, but not a relay coil. The input logic thresholds scale with supply: low is 1.5V to 4V, high is 3.5V to 11V, so it's compatible with 3.3V and 5V logic at appropriate supply levels.
Active lifecycle and compliance
It is ROHS3 compliant, so it fits current lead-free assembly lines without an exemption review. Sourced through our distribution network — quoted to order against your BOM quantity. The 14-TSSOP package is available in tape-and-reel or cut tape, matching both volume pick-and-place and prototype runs.
