Dual 4-input AND gate for wide-supply, harsh-environment logic
The 4000B family is known for its ultra-low quiescent current — 1 µA max — making this gate a fit for power-sensitive and always-on logic sections.
The 90ns max propagation delay at 15V, 50pF load sets the timing budget for cascaded gate stages. At lower supply voltages the delay increases, so for a 5V rail expect roughly 200ns — adequate for slow sensor polling, switch debounce, or control interlock logic, but not for high-speed clock distribution. The 3.4mA output drive is typical for the 4000B family and drives one or two CMOS loads per channel without buffering.
Mounting and handling
The 14-SOIC package fits standard surface-mount assembly.
