Quad 2-input AND gate in 14-TSSOP
The CD4081BPWR is a Texas Instruments quad 2-input AND gate from the 4000B series, packaged in a 14-TSSOP (0.173", 4.40mm width) for surface-mount assembly.
1 µA quiescent — the real power story
Quiescent current maxes out at 1 µA across the full supply range — the 4000B series draws essentially nothing when the inputs are static, so the part is well suited for always-on sensor interfaces or wake-up logic where every microamp counts. Propagation delay is 90 ns typical at 15V with a 50 pF load — this is the 4000B speed floor; for a 1 MHz clock tree the delay eats 9% of the period, so the part is better suited for control signals and debounce logic than high-speed data paths. Input logic thresholds track the supply: low is 1.5V to 4V, high is 3.5V to 11V at 15V VDD — the hysteresis is built into the CMOS structure, so the gate rejects noise on long traces better than a TTL input would.
