What this 4000B AND gate does on your board
The CD4073BPW is a Texas Instruments 4000B-series triple 3-input AND gate in a 14-TSSOP surface-mount package. It takes three logic inputs per gate and outputs a high only when all three are high — the basic AND function for combinatorial logic, glitch gating, or enable-signal generation.
Supply voltage, temperature, and quiescent current
Runs on a 3V to 18V supply rail — wide enough to work across 5V and 12V systems without a separate regulator.
Output drive and timing
Each output sources or sinks 3.4 mA — enough to drive one or two standard CMOS loads directly. Propagation delay is 90 ns at 15V with a 50 pF load, which sets the maximum toggle rate in a typical logic chain; at lower supply voltages the delay increases per the 4000B family curve.
