Triple 3-input AND gate for wide-supply, high-temp logic
The CD4073BM96 is a triple 3-input AND gate from the 4000B series, packaged in a 14-SOIC (3.90 mm width) for surface-mount assembly. It operates across a 3V to 18V supply range and a -55°C to 125°C temperature span, making it a direct fit for designs that need logic functions on unregulated rails or in harsh thermal environments — outdoor telecom cabinets, engine-bay controllers, or avionics cabin logic where a 74HC part's 2V to 6V range would be too tight. Each of the three independent AND gates accepts three inputs and delivers a standard 3.4 mA source/sink output, sufficient to drive one or two 4000B-series loads or a low-power LED indicator without a buffer. The 1 µA max quiescent current suits battery-backed or always-on logic where every microamp matters.
