The BQ79614PAPRQ1: Communicates over SPI and UART, giving the BMS controller a choice of serial bus depending on the existing harness topology. The over-temperature fault protection shuts down the monitor before the die exceeds the safe junction limit — critical for a part sitting on the battery pack where thermal runaway is the primary failure mode.
