The Texas Instruments BQ7721611PWR is a voltage and temperature protection IC for lithium-ion battery stacks. It monitors between 3 and 16 series cells, triggering a fault output when any cell exceeds the over-voltage threshold, drops below the under-voltage threshold, or the die temperature rises past the over-temperature limit.
