Battery-stack monitor for 9-15 series cells
The BQ7694003DBTR is a multi-chemistry battery monitor from Texas Instruments designed for series-cell stacks of 9 to 15 cells. It integrates overcurrent, over/under-voltage, and short-circuit fault protection, with an I²C interface for configuration and readback.
Fault protection set and interface
The monitor detects overcurrent, over-voltage, under-voltage, and short-circuit conditions on the cell stack — the protection thresholds are programmable over the I²C bus, so the same part can be tuned for Li-ion, LiFePO4, or lead-acid chemistries without a hardware change. The I²C interface allows the host to read individual cell voltages, stack voltage, and fault flags; the monitor handles the cell-balancing and protection logic autonomously once configured.
Supplied in a 44-TFSOP (4.40 mm width) package, also designated as 44-TSSOP.
