Battery monitor for 6–10 series cells
The Texas Instruments BQ7693000DBTR is a multi-chemistry battery monitor designed for 6 to 10 series-connected cells. It communicates over an I²C bus and integrates fault protection for overcurrent, over/under voltage, and short-circuit conditions.
The 6–10 cell range is the primary fit criterion: this part is for packs with 6 to 10 series Li-ion, LiFePO4, or other multi-chem stacks. The I²C interface lets the host poll voltage, temperature, and fault status without dedicated ADC lines.
