The BQ298000RUGT is a Texas Instruments single-cell battery protection IC for Lithium Ion/Polymer packs, integrating over-current, over-temperature, and over-voltage fault detection in a compact 8-X2QFN (1.5x1.5 mm) package. Rated for one series cell, the device monitors pack voltage and discharge current, triggering an external FET to disconnect the load when any threshold is exceeded.
