I²C bus and host integration
The BQ27541DRZR-V200 uses the I²C interface to deliver battery parameters — voltage, current, temperature, remaining capacity — to a system MCU. A single-cell Li-Ion pack is the target; the gauge handles one series cell. Over-temperature fault protection is built in, which can trigger a host alert or shutdown if the pack exceeds a safe threshold.
Package and board footprint
Surface-mount assembly with standard reflow profile; the small SON footprint saves board area in tight battery-pack or handheld designs.
It is a current-production TI part, so production BOMs are not facing an imminent last-time-buy.
