Single-cell Li-Ion fuel gauge with Impedance Track
It monitors battery state-of-charge using an I²C interface, reporting capacity and voltage data to the host controller.
I²C interface and single-cell topology
Communication runs over I²C, a two-wire bus that shares the line with other peripherals on the same host controller. The single-cell limit (1 cell) means this part is designed for a series stack of exactly one Li-Ion cell — not for 2-cell or higher packs. Compare with the BQ2084DBT-V143, which handles 2 to 4 cells over SMBus but uses a wider temperature range of -20°C to 85°C and a different package (TSSOP). The BQ27510DRZT stays on a smaller 12-SON (2.5x4) footprint.
