Single-cell Li-Ion fuel gauge with Impedance Track
The BQ27510DRZR is a battery monitor IC from Texas Instruments' Impedance Track™ series, designed for single-cell Lithium Ion packs. It communicates over an I²C bus, reporting remaining capacity, state-of-charge, and voltage directly to a host controller. Rated for operation from -40°C to 85°C, it covers the industrial temperature band — suitable for portable instruments, medical devices, and battery-powered tools that see outdoor or unheated indoor storage.
Package and board-fit for the BOM
The exposed pad also serves as the ground reference for the analog front-end. Surface-mount assembly with Tape & Reel packaging — the reel quantity should be confirmed at RFQ to match the pick-and-place setup. The 0.50 mm pitch demands a clean solder paste stencil and a reflow profile that avoids tombstoning on the small SON footprint.
The reel should be stored in a dry cabinet per the MSL rating on the reel label.
