Single-cell Li-ion fuel gauge with Impedance Track
The BQ27505YZGR-J3 is a Texas Instruments battery monitor from the Impedance Track series, purpose-built for single-cell Lithium Ion packs. It reports state-of-charge and voltage via an I²C bus, so the host processor reads remaining capacity without running its own coulomb-counting algorithm.
Housed in a 12-bump DSBGA (12-UFBGA) wafer-level package, the BQ27505YZGR-J3 mounts directly to the PCB with a surface-mount reflow profile typical for 0.5 mm pitch BGA. The 12-DSBGA supplier device package is the same footprint; no separate substrate is needed. Supplied on Tape & Reel, the part is compatible with standard pick-and-place assembly.
