Li-ion protection in a 2x2 mm footprint
The BQ24316DSGTG4 from Texas Instruments is a single-chip battery protection IC designed for single-cell Lithium Ion packs. It integrates over-current, over-temperature, and over/under-voltage fault detection into an 8-WSON (2x2 mm) package — no external comparators or voltage supervisors needed.
