What the protection suite covers
Over-current and over-temperature protection guard against load faults and charging abuse; the over/under-voltage thresholds keep the cell within its safe voltage window.
Package and thermal routing
The pad is the primary heat path — a solid copper pour with at least four vias keeps the junction temperature within the 125°C ceiling during a sustained over-current event.
