2.5A single-cell Li-ion charger with integrated protections
The BQ24278RGET: The 2.5 A charge current supports portable devices with single-cell Li-ion packs. On-chip fault protection covers over-temperature, over-voltage, and short-circuit conditions, which means the BOM can skip a separate charger front-end protector for many designs.
Supply voltage and battery pack compatibility
Maximum supply voltage is 10 V, so the part can be powered from a standard USB bus or a wall adapter without a pre-regulator. The battery pack voltage is specified at 3.7 V.
