Product details

Single-cell Li-ion charger with I²C control

The BQ24260RGER is a single-cell Lithium Ion battery charger from Texas Instruments, capable of delivering up to 3A charge current with constant-current programming via I²C. The 24-VFQFN Exposed Pad package (4x4 mm) requires a thermal via array under the pad to keep the junction below the 125°C limit during a full-rate charge cycle.

3A charge current and thermal design

With a 3A max charge current and a 10V max supply, the power dissipated in the pass element can exceed 2W at low battery voltage. Fault protection covers over-temperature and over-voltage conditions.

For BOM lines already in production, the only supply path is through independent distribution or surplus stock. We source and quote to order against your quantity — confirm the BOM position count and the mating half before committing.

Frequently asked questions

Does BQ24260RGER support I²C?

Yes, the charge current is programmable via the I²C interface. The host can adjust the current profile in firmware, which is useful for USB BC1.2 or wireless charging applications.
