Single-cell Li-Ion charger with I²C programmability
The Texas Instruments BQ24155RGYR is a single-cell Li-Ion or Li-Polymer battery charger with an I²C interface for programming charge current, voltage, and timer parameters. It targets portable devices, handheld instruments, and battery-backed systems where the charge profile must be adjusted in firmware rather than by resistor dividers.
1.25 A charge current in a 3.5x3.5 mm QFN
The maximum charge current is 1.25 A, programmable via I²C. Input supply maximum is 6 V. Over-voltage and over-temperature fault protection is built in.
