2.5A programmable charger for 1-3 cell Li-Ion packs
The Texas Instruments BQ24133RGYT is a synchronous switch-mode Li-Ion/Polymer battery charger IC supporting 1 to 3 series cells with a programmable charge current up to 2.5A. Input supply range extends to 17V, accommodating a wide variety of wall adapters or USB-PD sources without an external pre-regulator. The constant-current charge profile is programmable via an external resistor, giving the BOM engineer direct control over charge rate vs. thermal budget.
Industrial temperature grade and fault protection
