Charge current and cell-count flexibility
The BQ24123RHLT delivers a programmable constant charge current up to 2 A, covering a range of 1 to 3 series Li-Ion or Li-Polymer cells. The 8.4 V battery pack voltage rating aligns with a standard 2-cell stack, so a 2-cell pack is within the operating envelope — no need to derate or add external balancing.
Programmable current and timer for charge profile control
Charge current and a safety timer are programmable via external components, letting you set the constant-current phase and a backup termination timeout. The 16 V maximum supply voltage gives headroom for common 12 V or 15 V wall adapters without a pre-regulator.

It ships in Tape & Reel (TR) or Cut Tape (CT) options, surface-mount in a 20-VFQFN Exposed Pad package (3.5x4.5 mm body).
Fault protection and temperature grade
On-chip over-temperature protection shuts down the charger if the die exceeds the safe limit — no external thermistor required for the IC itself.
