The Texas Instruments BQ24113RHLR is a bqSWITCHER™ series Li-Ion/Polymer battery charger IC delivering a programmable constant-current charge up to 2A.

Charge current and thermal design

The 2A maximum charge current is set via an external resistor on the ISET pin, with a programmable timer to terminate the charge cycle. Input supply voltage can go up to 16V, which covers common 5V USB, 9V, or 12V wall adapters. Over-temperature and over-voltage fault protection are integrated, so the charger can operate without an external supervisory IC.
