The BQ24113ARHLR: This is a bqSWITCHER™ series Li-Ion/Polymer charger that handles 1 to 2 cells with a programmable constant-current charge up to 2A.
2A charge current, 16V input, industrial temp range
Maximum charge current is 2A, which sets the thermal budget for the QFN's exposed pad — the copper pour under the pad needs to handle that dissipation. Supply voltage max is 16V, so it works on standard 5V USB or 12V adapter rails without an external pre-regulator. Fault protection covers over-temperature and over-voltage — the charger shuts down before the battery or the IC itself gets damaged.
