The BQ24108RHLR is a Texas Instruments bqSWITCHER™ series single-cell Li-Ion and Li-Polymer battery charger IC. The 16 V supply maximum lets it run from a 5 V USB port or a 12 V wall adapter without an external pre-regulator.
Programmable current and timer — no I²C needed
Charge current and charge timer are set with external resistors — no digital interface required. Over-temperature and over-voltage fault protection are built in, so the part handles the termination and safety checks autonomously.
