1.5 A programmable charge current with USB input
The BQ24072RGTR is a single-cell Li-Ion linear charger that delivers up to 1.5 A of programmable charge current from a USB or 6.4 V max supply rail. The constant-current value is set with a single resistor; the timer sets the termination window.
Single-cell fit and protection suite
This part charges exactly one series Li-Ion cell to 4.2 V. It will not charge a 2S pack — that requires a different charger IC. The built-in fault protection covers over-temperature, over-voltage, reverse-current, and short-circuit conditions, which means you can omit external comparators and current-limit fets in most portable designs.
