1.5A single-cell Li-Ion charger with USB input
The Texas Instruments BQ24032RHLR is a single-cell Li-Ion/Polymer linear charger from the bqTINY™ III family, delivering up to 1.5 A programmable charge current to a 4.2 V battery pack. It accepts a USB or adapter input up to 16 V, making it straightforward to drop into portable devices that charge from a USB port or a wall wart without an extra front-end regulator.
Fault protection set and thermal range
On-chip fault protection covers over-temperature, reverse current, and short-circuit conditions — the charger shuts down rather than letting a bad cell or a faulted input damage the board.
The BQ24032RHLR carries an obsolete product status. For new designs, evaluate current-production single-cell chargers from TI's bqTINY or bq250xx families.
