Single-cell Li-Ion linear charger at 1.2A
The charge current and charge timer are programmable via external components, giving the designer control over the charge profile without an I2C bus. Built-in over-temperature fault protection shuts down the charger if the die temperature exceeds the safe limit, protecting both the IC and the battery during fault conditions.

Maximum supply voltage is 10V, and the battery regulation voltage is 4.2V — the charger regulates the battery voltage to this level at the end of the constant-current/constant-voltage cycle.
