Quad RS-422/RS-485 receiver for 3.3V differential lines
It integrates four independent receivers in a single 16-SOIC package, each with 50 mV of hysteresis to reject noise on long cable runs.
At 3.3V nominal, the receiver inputs are specified for RS-422/RS-485 differential levels, so common-mode range and fail-safe biasing follow the standard. The 50 mV hysteresis is a real help on twisted-pair runs longer than 100 metres — it prevents the output from chattering on slow edges or when the bus is idle and biased near the threshold.
If you are stocking for a long-life industrial product, the active status buys you time before a replacement search is necessary.
16-SOIC footprint and tube handling
If your pick-and-place line runs tape-and-reel exclusively, check the reel option under the same base number AM26LV32 — the IDG4 suffix may also be available in tape.
