Quad RS-422/RS-485 receiver for 3.3V industrial buses
It integrates four independent receivers in a single 16-TSSOP package, each with 35 mV of hysteresis for noise rejection on long cable runs.
Supply rail and 5V compatibility
It is not 5V-tolerant on the supply pin. If the existing bus controller or transceiver runs on 5V, the AM26LV32EIPWRG4 needs its own 3.3V rail, and the logic-level interface between the receiver outputs and a 5V MCU requires a voltage translator or careful review of the MCU's 5V-tolerant input thresholds. The receiver inputs are differential and handle common-mode voltages per the RS-422/RS-485 standard, so the bus side can still be 5V differential signaling as long as the receiver's supply stays within its 3V to 3.6V range. The 35 mV hysteresis helps reject noise coupled onto the twisted-pair cable in industrial environments.
16-TSSOP footprint and layout notes
Standard decoupling practice applies: a 0.1 µF ceramic capacitor close to each supply pin, with a bulk capacitor near the package.
