What the AM26LV31CNS does on the board
It converts parallel TTL/CMOS logic signals into balanced differential outputs for noise-immune transmission over twisted-pair cables. The 'LV' in the order code indicates a 3.3-V supply variant, which reduces power dissipation compared to the 5-V AM26C31 family while maintaining the same output swing and drive capability. Typical applications include industrial control networks, motor drive feedback links, and building automation backplanes where the cable runs stay under the RS-422 standard's 1200-m range.
If your pick-and-place line is set up for reel-fed components, you will need a tube feeder or a tray handler, or plan to transfer the parts into tape manually.
