Product details

40 MSPS pipelined ADC — 10-bit resolution, parallel bus

The ADS825E is a 10-bit pipelined ADC from Texas Instruments that samples at 40 MSPS — fast enough to digitize a 20 MHz bandwidth signal at Nyquist, or oversample a lower-frequency input for noise shaping. It accepts either differential or single-ended inputs through a single S/H-ADC channel, with the reference configurable as external or internal. The parallel data interface delivers deterministic latency — no SPI frame overhead to budget in the FPGA or DSP timing closure.

Single 5V supply, industrial temperature range

Both the analog and digital supply rails run at 5V — one clean 5V rail powers the whole converter, which simplifies the power tree compared to split-supply parts that need a separate 3.3V or 1.8V digital rail.

Frequently asked questions

What input types does the ADS825E support?

The ADS825E accepts both differential and single-ended inputs through a single S/H-ADC channel, with a 1:1 S/H-to-ADC ratio.
